Be more chill Video Auditions!
Time to audition! Here's how you do it:
- Step 1: Record a video of yourself singing "The Smartphone Hour" with the nonvocal track.
- Step 2: Record another video of either "A Guy That I'd Kinda Be Into" or "Upgrade" with the nonvocal track.
- Step 3: Record one more video of either "The Squip Song" or "Michael in The Bathroom" with the nonvocal track.
- Step 4: Using the link below, learn our More Than Survive choreography. Then record a video of yourself performing it full out!
- Step 5: Find or take a headshot to add to your audition packet. It should be a recent, front facing, photo that shows your entire face from the shoulders to the top of your head.
- Step 6: Upload all 4 videos and your picture to the google classroom link below. You should have 3 vocal videos and 1 dance video.

Tips & helpful Hints:
- Perform these songs full out and to the best of your ability! This is not just a singing and dancing audition, it's acting while you sing and dance!
- Make sure you are filming 4 separate videos, do not film one continuous clip. Please submit all content at once, do not make multiple submissions.
- Make sure you slate at the beginning of each video. (say your name, height, and what you're performing)
- None of the vocal options are gender specific, sing whatever you'd like.
- There shouldn't be additional people in the videos or any background noise. Be sure to be in a well-lit area.
- Watch the videos before you submit them.
- Make sure your entire body can be seen in dance videos.
- Make sure your entire face can be seen in singing videos. If you can, place the camera level with your face.
- The camera should be stationary in your videos.
- Don't be discouraged by the dance moves or notes, go full out and give it your all!
